Georgian Dream now wants all major opposition parties banned

• Georgian Dream has announced plans to add the opposition For Georgia party to the list of parties it wants to ban.
• The list, which now contains five parties, covers all major opposition groups that managed to clear the electoral threshold in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
• Georgian Dream intends to ban the five groups through a lawsuit at the Constitutional Court, which, if successful, would declare all of the groups unconstitutional.
